Magick with a "K"

Why do you spell magic with a k?

Aleister Crowley is the one responsible for adding the word "magick" to the occult vocabulary. He wished to separate "real magic" from stage magic and also gave reasons being the mystical significance of the numbers.

Many Wiccans aren't really familiar with Crowley or his numerology, and tend to use the spelling because it looks cool. Or, the reason Crowley first did it, to separate real magic from stage magic, which is a little silly. Like there are no other words that are spelled the same but have different meanings? Not that Im picking on people who use it, I use both magic and magick depending on my mood.
